"Morning In The Italian Garden II oil on panel 20" x 24"
After a plein-air painting done in early September, I was inspired to use it as my jumping-off point for this larger studio version. I feel that I captured the misty morning mood from the plein-air painting while then letting this piece go where it wanted.
