I've been enjoying taking some favorite props and developing a few still life paintings recently. The beautiful porcelin cup and saucer provided just the right amount of complimentary colors to make this composition in blue work.

"Afternoon Grazers"
"Afternoon Grazers" oil on panel 8" x 10"I've sketched and photographed this farm in all sorts of weather, summer through winter. This view always seemed lacking, but when I caught these "grazers", it made the subject into a real story.
