"Road to East Beach" oil on panel 11" x 14"I just returned from a wonderful two week painting expedition on St. Simons Island, one of the barrier islands on the coast of Georgia. Here's a plein-air painting of the road to East Beach as it crosses the marsh. This time of year, the marshes and water take on the jewel tones of gold and sapphire.
