I just returned from a wonderful two week painting expedition on St. Simons Island, one of the barrier islands on the coast of Georgia. Here's a plein-air painting of the road to East Beach as it crosses the marsh. This time of year, the marshes and water take on the jewel tones of gold and sapphire. My work can be seen on St. Simons Island at The Left Bank Art Gallery.
