DAY 4 - 5 May Madness Sale!
Well, I missed getting DAY 4 posted, so I'll just combine it here with DAY 5... so far, the fundraiser is going well! Thank you wonderful supporters!
DAY 4: The Hay Shed 9 x 12 oil on panel - SOLD
And today's addition, a pair of, what I call huts. With a somewhat romantic notion in mind, I titled the piece "Fish Huts", imagining spending a weekend fishing, with a little get-away just steps beyond.
DAY 5: Fish Huts 8 x 10 oil on panel - SOLD
Keep up with the next addition by visiting my Daily Paintworks Gallery during the month of May, a new piece added daily and when these are gone, they're gone!

May Madness: Day 2
Here is the addition for DAY 2 of my studio sale!
"Old Studio Bottles" 8 x 10 oil on panel - SOLD
Day 2: These are a couple of old bottles that are among my collection of still life props. Painting transparent objects always requires a keen eye to "see beyond" the surface.
May Madness Studio Sale!
OK, once again I'm kick-starting a fundraiser to help with this year's travel plans. You can read all about it on my website or see them in my Daily Paintworks Gallery, links to both are below.
Here is Day 1's addition, and there will be 30 more, a new painting each day!
"The Winery" 10 x 8 oil on linen panel SOLD
This is a plein air painting of the winery at Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC. A magical place, and I always find inspiration when painting there.

Poppies with Silver and Amber
"Poppies with Silver and Amber" 10 x 8 oil on linen
During winter, I generally try to get more involved with my still life painting, which I truly enjoy. However, this winter, I seemed to have gone slightly off course, which is OK in my book. Sometimes it's a good thing, as when I come back, it's always with a fresh eye and fresh ideas.
